MEANING: The LORD My Banner

Of the last few, I saved this one for last because I knew it’s meaning. If you get notifications, sorry for the spamming of your inbox. If you were waiting on me for these, apologies for the delay. I chose a complex way to do it and failed at it. But. We in there. All of them are now posted and have a comment of some kind. Thanks for sticking it out if you’ve been around for them all!

He’s the thing that is unfurled to announce who’s here or why we are here. It is He who shines and stands out. I’m fairly confident a preacher said this isn’t what this means. But IDC (I don’t care). This is what this will always mean. They had banner’s in war. The banners announced which army was there to fight. Maybe that is the banner it was supposed to mean. I dunno. I can’t remember. All I know is that the Lord is announcing who I am. Periodt. Period Pooh. Lololololol.

MEANING: The Branch of the Lord

This makes me think of Matthew where Jesus talks about vines and branches and abiding in the Word and the Word abiding in us. A life source.

MEANING: A Consuming Fire

Deuteronomy 4:24

This makes me think of Todd Dulaney’s song Consuming Fire. It also made me think of the burning bush in Exodus that wasn’t consumed. It should have been. But God is a consuming fire. He comes in and takes over like a fire does. He consumes everything not like Him and burns it away when we desire to be in relationship with Him. It is a continual process daily. But He desires, and does, to take all of us.

KJ21 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
