Verse: Micah 6:6

KJ21 With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

Reminds me of Isaiah 57 and 6 when he saw and says God is high and lifted. Above it all. Seeing it all. Sheesh.

ASV Wherewith shall I come before Jehovah, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt-offerings, with calves a year old?

The humbleness and actualization, reality of how small he is compared to God. The awe and reverence of it all.

AMP With what shall I come before the Lord [to honor Him] And bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With yearling calves?

Like. He can’t fathom bringing the customary thing before such a great God. Like. It isn’t good enough for God.

When I come into His presence. It reminds me of a song I learned decades ago at this point. I feel old. I digress. When I come into His presence I humble myself. Lift up both my hands. And I begin to worship Him. I worship Him. For all He’s done for me. How He redeemed and set me free. And because, just because He’s God.
