Put Them Out

I wrote about putting people out in Two Things Can Be True and It Cost Her Something. Well, at least closing the door and getting busy. Lol.

I also just talked about it some in Nah. No. Nope. Not Gonna Happen! Drop Weight. This was actually a draft first but I got to Nah first. That’s fine cuz this will illuminate, clarify, make Nah make more sense.

Ooooooh. Forgiving God has a lil bit of this too.

In Two Things, I discussed the fact that when it was time for Elisha to pray over the child, he went in the room and closed the door.

In It Cost Her, I discussed the fact that Elisha told the woman to go in her house and close the door.

In Forgiving God, emotionally and mentally, Job had to close the door on himself and the people around him.

I mentioned Jairus in It Cost Her and Who Do You Owe, but I didn’t stay long. So now here we go. Lol.

Jesus was walking around town minding his business. Someone came up to Him and summoned Him to the house of Jairus. His (12 I believe) daughter was in the bed dying.

(It was on his way there that the woman was healed from her 12 year blood disorder. Jesus was 12 when he stayed at the Synagogue. There were 12 disciples. 12 tribes of Israel. I am clearly gonna do a blog about 12. Holla atcha (at your) girl later.)

When my Savior (I be out here acting like John all possessive. Cuz all through the book of John he talks about himself in third person “the disciple Jesus loved” boy get outta here. J/K (just kidding) cuz I understand) got to the house the people were basically already having a funeral.

Jesus was like “y’all got to GO.” I believe He only let her parents/family, Simon Peter, James, and John stay in the room. He said two words. TWO WORDS.

Talitha. Cumi.

Maiden. Arise.

That’s it folks. That’s all. Just like that character in that cartoon.

Once, oooooh Jesus, all the wrong people were out, here and the examples up top, God had room to perform miracles.

Could it be, that God is just waiting on us to surround ourselves with the right people?

Could it be that He is, oh my, waiting to get us to the mountain alone like Moses so we can come down and have tangible, visible proof that we have been with Him (look it up!)?

Could it be that the atmosphere is not right for what God wants to do so we have to do whatever it takes to create an environment for Him to move?

At times, there are people in our lives who are more stressed out about our process than we are.

Job’s friends much?

If we sit and commiserate, talk about it we will be out here all fool up round the head (if you hadn’t noticed I’ve spent some time in the south and around older people lol.).

We will forget what God said, who God is, and where we are going. We won’t see Him working. We won’t be able to find Him, (if you could see my eyes as this hit me) like the woman with the issue of blood, on the way to our miracle.

Or we won’t be able to see the miracles around us as He comes to see about us.

I wonder how the messenger(s) felt when they experienced the woman with the issue of blood be healed en route to the house of Jairus.

All the woman did was touch the bottom of the garment, clothes Jesus was wearing.

She was so sure of what He could do because she had heard about Him.

Who He was and what He was doing had got out. It spread around. He had a good reputation that preceded Him. Because people opened their mouths and testified (that’s a whole thing in part of Forgiving God) she had a hope, faith that Jesus could do what NO other person could do.

He stopped en route to one miracle to announce that He had just performed one. I’d like to think it was intentional. So the messenger would know that they didn’t waste their time. Oh GOOD LORD. So the messenger would know that with Jesus there is an unlimited supply of miracles. So the messenger would know that the hope that Jairus had was not misplaced.

Shoot. Put yourself out.

Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever. That’s Bible.

The same Person who spoke and created is the same Person who went to Calvary’s cross and the same Person that dwells inside as a Comforter (that’s a lot. Check this out.).

If you need a miracle, He’s still handing them out.

But be warned, some are instantaneous and some are progressive. Trust the process. Follow His voice. Cuz sometimes we gotta work at the miracle. Sometimes we have to get in the habit of being a miracle. Just know, that He that shall come will come and His reward is with Him (Scriiiiiipture).

Go be great. The world awaits your greatness.
