All You Got

Sometimes, God is all you got.

Unreachable friends.

Uninterested family.

Uneasy feelings and emotions.

Sometimes, that’s exactly where God needs you.

David spent time in turmoil alone with God.

As did Elijah.

Samson was prepared for greatness in secret.

It is in times of our greatest angst and turmoil that God is able to prepare us and reveal Himself to us.

Moses had killed a man and fled. God showed up in a burning bush.

In anger over the Israelites, Moses disobeyed and was prohibited from seeing the Promised Land. Yet, he asked for and was granted the ability to see the hindparts of God.

Look around and within to see how God is preparing you for purpose.

All of the people mentioned were imperfect and made mistakes-even AFTER their relationships with God began. But, He still used them and they are still helping people in their relationships with Him today.

Like I said recently, if He called us to it He will grace us through it. He knows what He’s doing. We just have to trust Him.

Go be great. Someone is counting on it.
