This year won’t be perfect. It’s going to be difficult. It’s going to be intense. But it’s going to be so rewarding.
Change, growth, and making dreams a reality are individually challenging. And I’ll be doing them all simultaneously.
I’ve been working and in school since 2012. That’s been something in and of itself. But I think this year-through 2017-will stretch me to capacity and beyond.
A personal new year began around my 29th birthday. This morning marked a milestone and the arrival of a calendar year filled with the promise of new beginnings.
2016 holds my 30th birthday, completion of law school, a bar exam, and things I will keep to myself as I wait to see them manifest as promised.
Often the best, most anticipated, most rewarding things are coupled with the hardest times. I expect one of the best years of my life. And I’m glad I’m grounded enough to realize this greatness won’t be easy but will come at a price. But it’s a price I’m willing to pay as this year has been my lifetime in the making.
